Woodhill Digital is a practical consultancy helping New Zealand small businesses modernise their operations, marketing, and use of AI — in a grounded, business-first way. I focus on simple, high-impact improvements that make everyday work smoother: clearer processes, better use of existing tools, and AI that's actually embedded into how you work.

Rather than recommending a full technology overhaul, I start with what you already have — your website, CRM or spreadsheets, marketing tools, and operational workflows. From there, I identify the bottlenecks, design sensible changes, and help you implement and document them so your business can grow without adding unnecessary complexity or headcount.

The experience behind it

Running a business is relentless. There's always another problem to solve, another system that isn't quite working, another task eating into your day that probably shouldn't be yours to do.

I know, because I've been there — and I'm still there.

Over the past 20 years I've worked across businesses in New Zealand, Australia and the UK, spanning import and distribution, wine, finance, marketing and digital media. I've been on the inside of small businesses and large organisations alike — in operational, financial and marketing roles — and I'm currently directing two companies of my own: Woodhill Distribution, where I import and distribute sustainable packaging across New Zealand, and Brown International, where I manage sales, customer service and accounting.

I didn't start Woodhill Digital because I studied digital tools. I started it because two decades of working inside real businesses taught me how much time, money and energy gets lost to processes that could be simpler.

What I bring to your business

Across my career I've managed accounts on Xero, built marketing campaigns for multinational brands, handled end-to-end logistics, and helped launch products into new markets. I've worked in enough small businesses to recognise the challenges quickly — and to know what actually fixes them.

My background spans:

  • Business operations and management across multiple industries

  • Sales, marketing and campaign strategy — from brand positioning to digital media and content that supports revenue, not just awareness

  • Financial management, bookkeeping and Xero

  • Workflow design and process simplification

  • AI tools setup and training for everyday business tasks

That breadth means I look at AI, systems, and marketing as part of your wider business — not as standalone add-ons. The goal is always the same: a business that feels more organised, more consistent, and better set up for growth — while staying lean and focused.

I hold a Bachelor of Commerce in Marketing from the University of Auckland, alongside specialist training in project management, negotiation and presenting.

How I work

I'm straightforward, calm and practical. I don't oversell, I don't use jargon, and I won't recommend something unless I genuinely think it'll make a difference for your business.
